#1. Old Major has a dream. His dream is that of Animalsim. He also mystically comes up with a song called "Beasts Of England." That night, he draws a meeting to discuss overthowing Mr. Jones.
This is a lot like Soviet Russia and the poor peasents adopting Karl Marx's idea. Old Major is like Karl Marx, and the animals soon adopt his ideas and plan a rebellion.
